PILOT CAR COMPANY NEAR YOU IN INDIANA

Transporting oversized loads across Indiana can be a hectic task. Nationwide Transport Services smooths out the process by handling every transport step. Besides escorting vehicles, we provide cranes for loading or unloading, conduct route surveys, and obtain permits. Our dedicated legal team of specialists ensures we follow the state's regulations before transit. Our drivers are well versed in traversing dense metros; thus, the cities of Indianapolis, Richmond, or Fort Wayne will pose no challenge. We offer our services across all 50 states and offer interstate shipments.

Pilot cars are a legal requirement in all states. They lead or follow oversized loads, warning other motorists and guiding the tow vehicles. When going through narrow roads with multiple lanes, the escort moves ahead, clearing the road. Some loads may require police escorts who work with our drivers to conduct the transport. Permits are the backbone of any oversized load shipment. They regulate the travel times, routes, and maximum dimensions. In Indiana, oversized permits are valid for fifteen days and are a requirement before entering the state. Drivers must have the vehicle permit in hand during transport.
