The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles regulates the movement of oversized loads within the state and issues oversized permits with a validity of three to five days. If an over-dimensional load is coming from outside the state, a permit is necessary before entering the state. As a part of the permitting process, we conduct a route survey for route planning and to identify overhead utilities, railway crossings, and any obstacles along the route.
